Fun Day in Little Rock!

Our last day of being a tourist in Arkansas brought us to Little Rock, the capital. We walked along Big Dam Bridge. The pedestrian bridge spans 4,266 feet long built atop the Murray Lock and Dam and is elevated up to 90 feet above the Arkansas River! Sure was windy! The bridge connects over 14 miles of walking and biking trails along the river in the cities of Little Rock and North Little Rock.
Next we went to Rock Town Distillery. It is the first legal distillery in the state since prohibition. The distillery is only 15 years old so that tells you that it took some work changing the state laws to be legal! We learned some things about the process and were able to have a tasting at the end. This girl is not a whiskey and bourbon fan but the cordials were to my liking 😊.
We finished off the day at Moody Brews Brewery in Little Rock! We enjoyed chatting with the locals and found some friendly folks in Arkansas! Thanks for your hospitality Arkansas!
Next up: Army Corps campground in Queen City, Texas on Tuesday.
