We decided to join a new group called RV Overnights which is similar to Harvest Hosts but not as large. Our first time trying it was Monday, May 20th at Holdfast Alpaca Farm in Medway, Ohio.
Alpacas originated from South America and live to be 15-20 years old. They produce 5-10 pounds of fleece per year. They are smart and fairly pleasant until they spit! No one warned me about the spitting and I got a lovely surprise 😮. They are cute though with huge eyes.
Not a bad stop at all. I bought some cool alpaca socks too!
Next stop is Mississinewa Lake in Indiana!
